My PR

Terms of use

The terms you accept by using My PR, in the app and on the website.

Who provides the service

For anything to do with the service, write to us at hello@my-pr.app.

What this is, and what it is not

It is a tool for planning and logging training, measurements and food, and for working out estimates from what you record. It is not a medical device, it diagnoses nothing, it treats no condition, and it replaces neither a doctor nor an exercise professional. The calories, paces and progressions it calculates are estimates from public formulas: they guide, they do not prescribe. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, take medication or something feels wrong while training, talk to a health professional before following anything you read here.

Your account

You need an account and you need to be 16 or older. The details you give have to be true, and your credentials are yours: whatever happens under your account is your responsibility, so tell us if you think someone else got in. One account is for one person.

How it may be used

With common sense and within the law. Specifically, you may not:

  • Impersonate anyone, or claim to be a qualified coach when you are not.
  • Upload illegal content, other people content without permission, or anything promoting dangerous behaviour or eating disorders.
  • Scrape data automatically, resell access, or work around the limits of the service.
  • Attack the infrastructure, hunt for flaws to exploit, or interfere with anyone else account.

What you upload stays yours

Your workouts, your measurements, your photos and your text are yours. You give us just enough permission to store, process and show them to you — and to show them to whoever you authorise — and nothing more: we do not use them in advertising and we do not pass them to third parties. Delete your account and that permission ends with it.

Coaches and clients

A coach only sees the data of someone who granted them access, and only while it lasts. What a coach recommends to their client is on them: we provide the tool, we do not review or endorse the plans other people write, and the relationship between coach and client — what they charge each other included — is between the two of them.

Public profiles

Turn your public profile on and your name, your picture and whatever you post become visible to anyone and may show up in search engines. You can turn it off whenever you like, but whatever has already been copied or indexed elsewhere is out of our hands.

Advertising and affiliate links

The app is funded by advertising and affiliate commission. Links to shops are marked as such and the commission costs you nothing extra. A product showing up does not mean we rate it above another: what we say about supplements is in the guides, with their references, and it does not depend on who pays.

Price

The app is free today. If paid features ever arrive, they will be bought through the App Store or Google Play, with the price visible before you pay, and cancelled from the store itself; refunds follow their terms. We will never charge for something without telling you first and without you accepting it.

Availability and changes

We do our best to keep this running, but we do not guarantee it will be free of interruptions or bugs, nor that data coming from third parties — Apple Health, Health Connect, the stores — will always be available. We may change or withdraw features; if a change affects you meaningfully, we give notice first.

Our liability

We are liable for damage we cause by breaching these terms, within the limits the law allows. We are not liable for injuries arising from training — exercise carries risk and only you know how you are — nor for decisions you make from an estimate the app produced, nor for what a third party does with access you granted them. If you are a consumer, none of this cuts back the rights the law gives you.

Leaving

You can delete your account whenever you like from inside the app, under Settings → Edit profile → Delete account, at the bottom of the screen. We ask you to confirm because there is no way back: no bin, no grace period, so export anything you want to keep first. Confirming deletes:

  • Your profile — name, bio and pictures, which are removed from storage too.
  • Your workouts and sessions, your measurements and health data, your food log and your posts.
  • Your plans, with their weeks, sessions and exercises, and your enrolments and schedule in other people plans.
  • Who you follow and who follows you, along with any access you granted a coach.
  • Your login credential: the account leaves the directory and can no longer sign in. Your username is freed up for someone else.

What does not go with you

Almost everything leaves with you, but there are three exceptions and they are worth stating plainly.

  • Exercises you created that someone else is using in their plan: they stop being associated with you and are left with no author, so that a plan belonging to someone who has not left does not break.
  • Plans belonging to someone else that you created: they stay theirs, with no author.
  • Whatever a legal obligation requires us to keep — invoicing, for instance — and security logs, for the periods the privacy policy sets out. Backups are overwritten within 30 days at most.

Account closures on our side

We only close an account for breaching these terms or the law, and except in serious cases we warn you first and give you a chance to export your content.

Intellectual property

The app, the website, the guides and the brand are ours. You may use them for what they are for, and quote the guides with attribution; what you may not do is copy them wholesale, resell them or pass them off as your own.

Governing law and complaints

Spanish law applies. If you are a consumer you can go to the courts where you live and use the European Commission online dispute resolution platform. Before that, write to hello@my-pr.app: almost everything gets sorted by email, and faster.
